Home Health Positions We Are Hiring for Right Now
Our current openings span the full range of home health care services, and we review new applications continually because our patient census keeps growing. We are hiring for the following roles across all seven service areas:
- Registered Nurse (RN): Skilled nursing care, medication management, wound care at home, chronic disease care, and medical evaluations. Active Tennessee RN license required.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN): Hands-on nursing care under RN supervision, including vitals, medication administration, and case coordination. Active Tennessee LPN license required.
- Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Personal care assistance, companion care, meal preparation services, and light housekeeping services for patients across Anderson, Roane, Loudon, and Knox counties. Current Tennessee certification required.
- Case Coordinator: Support scheduling, medical evaluations, and communication between families, physicians, and our nursing team, with a strong focus on EEOICPA home health care and workers' compensation home health care cases.
- Per Diem and PRN Nursing Staff: Pick up shifts that fit your calendar while supporting 24-hour home care and 24/7 nursing care coverage for patients who need it most.
What to Expect During Our Hiring Process
We keep our hiring process straightforward so qualified nurses and aides can start making a difference quickly. After you submit your application, our clinical director reviews your license, certifications, and experience within a few business days.
Qualified candidates are invited for an interview at our Oak Ridge office or by phone, followed by a background check, reference verification, and any required skills competency review. Once cleared, you will complete a brief orientation covering our documentation systems, care standards, and the needs of the patient populations we serve, including chronic disease care, post-surgical home care, and specialty nursing care for EEOICPA and workers' comp beneficiaries.
Many new hires are matched with their first patient assignment within one to two weeks, depending on availability and location across Clinton, Harriman, Kingston, Knoxville, Lenoir City, Oak Ridge, and Oliver Springs.
Who Thrives in a Home Health Career Here
Nurses and caregivers who do well at Harmony Wellness tend to value one-on-one patient time over the fast pace of a hospital floor or facility. Many of our RNs and LPNs previously worked in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, or hospice, and they choose home health because it lets them build lasting relationships with the same patients and families.
Our home health aides often come from backgrounds in caregiving, certified nursing, or direct support roles, and they appreciate the flexibility and dignity that personalized home health care allows them to provide every day. We also welcome nurses interested in specialty populations.
If you have experience with occupational illness, radiation exposure claims, or workers' compensation documentation, your background is valuable to our EEOICPA and workers' comp home health teams. Training and mentorship are available for nurses who are new to these programs but eager to learn.
